Teaching at ROIS is an amanah before Allah, our students, and their families. By signing, I accept these expectations:

1. Islamic characterI will model Islamic adab, honesty, mercy, patience, modesty, and respect in my words, conduct, dress, and interactions.
2. Student safetyI will follow child-safety, supervision, check-in, emergency, and incident-reporting procedures and immediately report suspected abuse or unsafe conduct.
3. Professional boundariesI will maintain appropriate adult-student boundaries and use only ROIS-approved communication channels with students and families.
4. Teaching responsibilityI will prepare lessons, teach age-appropriate material consistent with the approved ROIS curriculum, and avoid presenting personal opinions as settled Islamic rulings.
5. Attendance and punctualityI will arrive prepared and on time, remain responsible for assigned students, and notify school leadership as early as possible when absent or late.
6. Inclusive classroomI will treat every student fairly and with dignity and will not use humiliation, threats, corporal punishment, or discriminatory language.
7. ConfidentialityI will protect student and family information and share concerns only with authorized ROIS personnel and the appropriate parent or guardian.
8. Policies and cooperationI will follow ROIS policies, cooperate respectfully with leadership, colleagues, parents, and volunteers, complete required training, and disclose concerns or conflicts of interest.
