Parent Participation

Parent Presence

AT LEAST ONE PARENT OR GUARDIAN will be present in the classroom with their child each Sunday as part of our partnered-presence learning model.

Volunteer Commitment

I will volunteer in the classroom when scheduled.

Substitute Policy

If I cannot be present on my assigned day, I will notify the school AT LEAST 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE and I am responsible for finding my own replacement to fulfill my assigned classroom responsibility.

Attendance & Punctuality

Absence Limit

My family is expected to attend Sunday School consistently and is limited to NO MORE THAN SIX (6) COUNTED ABSENCES. Attendance toward this limit begins September 13, 2026, and every three (3) tardies count as one (1) absence, except in cases of illness or approved special circumstances.

Punctuality

I will ARRIVE 5 MINUTES BEFORE SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS to assist with classroom setup and remain afterwards to assist with classroom clean-up.

Absence Notification

If my child will be absent or late, I will notify the school as soon as possible.

Partnership & Environment

Respect & Modesty

I will dress modestly and respectfully while in the masjid and help maintain clean classrooms and common areas.

Positive Environment

I will support the teaching staff, volunteer, and assist in creating a positive learning environment for all students and families with kindness and respect.
